We met Gary Rapoport at an open house in
Encino,
California where he showed us die condominium that we purchased
thirty days later through him. Gary was very easy to speak to and
worked closely with us from the beginning of the process to the end.
As a first time home buyer we were extremely fortunate to have found
the right property and die right realtor all in the same day.

very supportive through what we consider to be a very challenging.
yet an incredibly rewarding time in our lives. As a dual agent, we
didn't even notice that he was representing the seller in addition
to us. When we were signing the loan documents the day before escrow
was scheduled to close, the loan officer brought a slightly
different rate to die table. We were ready to succumb to the new
higher interest rate due to the circumstances of us needing to have
escrow dose the following day, but Gary had no uncertainty to stand
up for us and share his concern to the loan agent that what the
lending institution was doing was wrong. The loan agent immediately
called her supervisor to have what she referred to as a processing
error corrected, thanks to Gary.

We are writing this letter to commend your Realtor/colleague Gary
Rapoport for the outstanding service he has given to us in
representing us to buy our first home.
Before we met Gary, we were very wary and skeptical of Real Estate
Agents, having seen what some of them have done to our parents in
the purchase of their houses, our own negative experience of
Realtors as property managers looking for tenants, and the sad
stories we got from friends who pretty much told us that real estate
agents are only interested in money and commission, nothing else, so
we were very skeptical in even agreeing to be represented by any of
them.
Gary Rapoport dispelled those fears and negative thoughts and
previous conceptions by his wonderful professionalism, great
knowledge and caring attitude toward his clients. We initially
placed an offer for a property he was representing, but the next
day, we changed our minds and had to revoke the offer. We explained
we found another property and he was very gracious about it and did
not say anything negative regarding changing our minds. He was very
professional and considerate at the same time. That's when we
decided that we wanted him to be our agent for whatever property we
end up buying. We liked the way he cared about our needs as well as
looking out for the seller he represented.

expressed such a balanced loyalty, integrity and professionalism
that is very hard to encounter in people these days, especially
those in sales.
As our agent,
Gary
worked tirelessly as the new house we wanted received multiple
offers and the seller's agent at first doubted our ability to get a
loan and did not recommend us to the seller. With Gary's help, we
were able to overcome that difficulty. He always gave us his advice
& opinion in a manner that is not pushy at all. Throughout the whole
experience, he worked in our behalf, always keeping us updated and
returning our calls very quickly that we always felt like VIP, and
we got the sense that he REALLY cared for us, not just the
commission. There were nights he waited until almost midnight for us
as we finished writing letters to the sellers which really helped us
gain some leverage and be chosen over the other buyers who offered
for the house. Gary's diligence, patience and hard work really
helped us get our offer accepted for the house we wanted, and to get
it for a great deal.
Once our offer was accepted,
Gary has helped
us tremendously with the loan broker. When the loan broker tried to
charge us more than what was verbally agreed upon before, Gary
fought for us and made sure that we were given the refund we were
promised after Escrow closed.. Also, when the mortgage broker failed
to send us a portion of the refund check, Gary personally went to
get it for us and hand-delivered it to of us at home—what service!!
Even now that the sale has been completed,
Gary makes
himself available to us and is willing to help us go back to the
seller to fix a pool leak that we found after we moved in.
Gary goes above
and beyond his duties to serve his clients.
We are very happy with the way Gary Rapoport has represented us in
the buyer agency we had with him. We felt very blessed and lucky to
have found such a professional, considerate, knowledgeable and
caring agent in Gary that we will definitely use him again for any
future real estate purchase or selling needs and will recommend him
to others. He certainly does not waste anybody's time, yet he always
made sure he spent enough time with us his clients to make sure we
were comfortable with a decision or document. When we told him that
we couldn't find a lower cost homeowner's insurance for the house,
he gave us referrals who were able to get us lower cost insurance
before Escrow closed. He was always willing to help.
